Iranian Cinema Night : Where is the Friend's House?

Screening & discussion of Where is the Friend's House, directed by Abbas Kiarostami We'll be screening the 1987 film "Where is the friend's House?" directed by Abbas Kiarostami, which follows an eight-year-old schoolboy Ahmad as he tries to return his friend's notebook, .which Ahmad accidentally took home. If his friend doesn't get his notebook back, he won't be able to complete his homework and may be punished at school. This film has one the multiple international awards and has a 100% critics rating on rotten tomatoes. The first of a recurring film series and discussion group screening classic and contemporary Iranian cinema — from the poetic New Wave of the 1960s-70s to the acclaimed dramas of the last two decades.
