Nervous System Reset

A Somatic Journey of remembering the bodies innate ability to heal trauma, resolve chronic stress & pain, and expand our capacity for life. The nervous system is the body's master command center that takes in data from the senses and informs the body how to react. Essentially, the nervous system is HOW we make sense of the world. Yet, for so many, the nervous system is operating in dysregulation, that is, a rhythm that is stuck in high alert or shut down largely due to modern chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, & trauma. So if the nervous system is the one running the show, we must discover ways to return to regulation. We must remember the inextricable interconnection between our brain and our bodies so that we may better interrupt cycles of chronic stress, distinguish our past from our present, grow our capacity to meet what is, and access greater possibility & choice for ourselves. In this experiential workshop we will learn practical somatic tools to support trauma healing, resolve chronic stress & pain, regulate emotions, and build greater capacity for safety, resilience, and connection. We’ll explore the role of the vagus nerve and how breath, movement, awareness, and nervous system regulation can support your body’s natural capacity to heal.
