Explore how Sāmoan wayfinders read stars, waves, and winds to connect with culture, place, and identity. Join Sāmoan wayfinders Tuloutele Celeste Manuia Haʻo and Fealofani Bruun to learn how Oceanic wayfinders read the stars, waves, winds, and other environmental signs to determine course and direction. Explore wayfinding as a way of understanding Pacific knowledge systems and creating meaningful connections to culture, place, and identity. This free training is open to the public and focuses on educators interested in incorporating wayfinding into their curriculum. This training is limited to 40 participants.
