Bill Baird Album Release - Live at The Echo Bridge

The Echo Bridge Appreciation Society is proud to present the musical stylings of local legend, Bill Baird ! The Echo Bridge Appreciation Society is proud to present the musical stylings of local legend, Bill Baird for yet another special sunset under the bridge . Bill has spent decades operating just outside the boundaries of whatever the music industry thought it was doing — drawing inspiration from fellow true believers and beautiful misfits like Arthur Russell, Daniel Johnston, Roky Erickson, and Doug Sahm, while quietly assembling one of the most idiosyncratic bodies of work in American independent music. Critics who've caught up with him haven't been subtle. "In the sphere of psychedelic music, Bill Baird is without a doubt one of the top 2 or 3 songwriters in the world," wrote le Village Pop. Tiny Mix Tapes called him "one of the last of the living rock n roll geniuses." The Bay Bridged kept it simple: "Bill Baird is a genius.” Baird’s Echo Bridge performance will also be the album release for his latest LP, Life Creates Itself, released on Royal Oakie Records. This special performance will feature songs from the new album as well as cuts from his back catalog. Come celebrate the passing of time and the wonders of the smiling surprise. Expect the unexpected. Space is limited. Get your tickets today as these will go fast. See you there! Wear comfortable shoes for your walk down under the bridge, it's a little steep to walk down. Enter through the side yard of Tandem Coffee. Bring a small blanket or small low folding chairs to view the show. We ask folks with chairs to stay in the back row.
