About Dr. Matthew Torres Matthew R. Torres, MD, DDS, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School and his dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine before completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in Houston. His practice encompasses dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants and full-arch treatment, bone grafting, reconstructive jaw surgery, and surgical pathology. He also maintains staff privileges within the Methodist Hospital System.
