San Antonio - Standard Core Water Quality Citizen Scientist Training

Volunteers will be trained to preform stream observations and measure water quality parameters using a wet chemistry kit. Texas Stream Team Standard Core training with River Aid San Antonio Standard Core monitoring trains volunteers to adopt a stream site and conduct monthly monitoring of water quality measurements, including field observations and parameters using a wet chemistry kit. Some fine motor control & vision is necessary to participate. We will learn at Joske Pavillion and on the Brackenridge Way bridge, so please dress comfortably for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. Availability: This training is open to the public (14 yrs or older, minors must have a guardian present); however, spots are limited.
