ABOUT THIS EVENT When everything and everyone else makes the list before rest, it’s probably time to change the list. We work. We take care of people. We handle business. We get things done. And then we try to squeeze rest into whatever time is left. Sound familiar? Too Much or Not Enough™: Joyful Rest is your invitation to spend an afternoon doing things a little differently. Led by Jordan Maney, the Radical Joy Coach™, we’ll explore what rest actually looks like, the different kinds of rest available to us, and how to make rest, joy, and care a more intentional part of our lives. Through guided conversation, reflection, and Jordan’s Joyful REST method, we’ll get more intentional about recognizing the rest we need—and actually making room for it. This is an afternoon to slow down, get comfortable, enjoy good company, and make some intentional space for yourself. We’ll also enjoy healthy sips and light bites. Bring your yoga mat, a pillow or cushion, your journal and something to write with. Wear something cozy and comfortable. For one afternoon, rest gets to make the list. MEET JORDAN MANEY Jordan Maney is the Radical Joy Coach™ and creator of the Recess. Through her facilitation and coaching, she helps people who give a damn—aka bleeding hearts—learn the radical practice of rest so they can reclaim their joy and sustain their advocacy.
