Building Bridges Through Rotary: Climate Action Without Borders

Attendance is free and open to everyone. An optional lunch is available for $40 per person. Purchasing lunch is not required to attend the presentation. If cost is a barrier, you are still warmly invited to attend and participate without purchasing lunch. We want this gathering to remain accessible and welcoming to everyone. FEATURED SPEAKER: STEVE BENDER Steve Bender is Chairman of the US Green Chamber and President of the Rotary Club of Newport Beach, with deep involvement in numerous Rotary environmental organizations. At San Diego Climate Week, Steve will present “Building Bridges through Rotary,” a program that partners Rotary Clubs in the US with Rotary Clubs in Mexico and other countries on collaborative environmental projects. Steve will showcase inspiring initiatives including: The Tijuana River Project Pollinators Without Borders The Alluvium Project Ice in a Box The Panama Project The Rotary Experience at EarthX 2027 Other cross-border environmental efforts Through inspiring stories and real-world examples, Steve will explore how relationships across clubs, communities and countries can transform local environmental ideas into meaningful action. This is more than a presentation, it is an invitation to connect, exchange ideas, and discover how local leadership can generate global impact. Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a Rotary member to attend.
