Coding Together - Day Camp

Calling all Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors - learn how to use technology as a tool to make the world a better place! Explore apps, identify an issue in your community, and prototype an app as a solution to that issue. Participants will earn all three badges of the Coding for Good series (Coding Basics, Digital Game Design, and App Development), while discovering how AI shows up in everyday coding. A partnership between Code with Her and the Data Science Alliance (DSA), this two-hour workshop adds a new AI safety component to the Coding for Good series because the coders of today are the responsible AI users and builders of tomorrow. Participants will also get a behind-the-scenes tour of DSA's workspace and earn a fun patch for the day. Coding for Good badges can be purchased through Girl Scouts after the workshop. Workshop availability (all times Pacific): Morning session: 10 AM to 12 PM Afternoon session: 1 PM to 3 PM When you register, please tell us the Girl Scout participant's name, level, and which session they will attend.
