About This Event Fox Point Bakehouse returns for another focaccia making workshop—but this time, Chef Sierra is leaning into the time of year and bringing a Halloween twist. Sit down with Chef to learn her techniques for focaccia that’s just right—the kind of airy fluffiness you want to dip into your favorite olive oil or slice open for the most delectable sandwiches once you're home… if it makes it home! Spruce up your bread's flavor with fresh herbs and ingredients from our fields, while having fun with food! In this workshop, you'll be encouraged to express your spookiness by how you decorate your bread with the available ingredients. Following this 1.5 hour long workshop, you’ll leave with a freshly baked focaccia loaf and the recipe & ingredients to make one on your own. Beginner bakers welcome, DIY enthusiasts encouraged, and those who love being hands-on with food—join us to learn our bread recipe: spooky edition! The Workshop • Work with prepped focaccia dough and prepare it for bake: decorate with herbs, tomatoes, and seasonings to customize the flavor •Sit with Chef Sierra as she shows you how to make focaccia •Bake your bread •Learn about Fox Point Farm’s baking program •Leave with your loaf and an assignment: to make focaccia at home (ingredient kit and recipe card given to each attendee) •Enjoy one free glass of wine or NA kombucha during the class.
