In this hands-on class you will repair two ceramic pieces and learn to embellish them with gold mica powders and variegated gold leaf. Kintsugi is the ancient japanese method of repairing ceramics with veins of gold. If a bowl is broken, rather than discarding the pieces, the fragments are put back and the cracks are adorned with gold. There are no attempts to hide the damage.
