This isn’t an open mic. There’s no stage to conquer, no competition, and no pressure to perform. Instead, we’ll gather in a circle and create space for people to share something meaningful In the moment. You’re invited to bring a poem—your own or one that has stayed with you—a short piece of writing, a story from your life, or simply a thought you’ve been carrying. You’re also completely welcome to come and just listen. WHAT TO BRING: Copies of Poetry Saves Lives - an interactive poetry journal is available For this workshop with Premium ticket. Bring journal and pen. WHAT TO EXPECT: We’ll begin by settling into the space together, integrate with a mindfulness practice and a free write to create something in the moment. The purpose isn’t perfection. It’s presence. It’s listening to one another. It’s remembering that sometimes a few honest words can make another person feel a little less alone. No previous writing or performance experience is necessary. Come share. Come listen. Come get inspired. Come remember why words matter. All are welcome.
