Wellness in Solidarity: A Fundraiser for Immigrant Communities

Join us for an afternoon of wellness in action, coming together as neighbors to take care of one another through fitness and giving. WELLNESS IN SOLIDARITY: A community fundraiser supporting immigrant communities A little movement. A lot of community. A shared purpose. Join shore and sage wellness market, Adams Ave Fitness, Yoga for Immigrant Justice, and Commonplace for an afternoon of wellness, supporting local businesses with a wellness market, and collective action in support of immigrant communities. Wellness in Solidarity brings our community together around something bigger than ourselves: showing up for one another, creating space for connection, and supporting the organizations doing meaningful work for the immigrant communities all around us. WHAT TO EXPECT • Donation based fitness classes: Move, breathe, and participate in a community experience that gives back to your body and to others. All levels welcome. Class schedule: 11:15-12 - vinyasa yoga | 12:30-1:15 - yoga sculpt | 1:45-2:30 - strength circuit training • Local businesses and brands at a wellness market: Discover a thoughtful selection of local makers, artists and artisans, small businesses, and fun activations. • Wellness experiences: Come experience holistic care from local practitioners. • An opportunity to give back: Learn about the organizations benefiting from this fundraiser and contribute if you're able. WHERE THE FUNDS GO Proceeds raised for this fundraiser will be distributed equally among these five vetted organizations selected by Yoga for Immigrant Justice: Border Kindness, Detention Resistance, Haitian Bridge Alliance, Mutual Aid for Moms, and Sharda Yoga Center. These partner organizations advance immigrant rights and support our immigrant communities. Every contribution matters. Whether you participate in a class, make a donation directly, support a local business at the market, show up to the event, or simply share, your presence and support is a valuable part of the collective effort.
