Nathan Stanley’s “Personal Tribute to Dr. Ralph Stanley” is a heartfelt celebration of the life, legacy, and timeless music of his grandfather, the legendary bluegrass pioneer Dr. Ralph Stanley. Carrying forward the Stanley family tradition, Nathan honors the songs, stories, and spirit that made Dr. Ralph Stanley an icon of American music. With his powerful voice, deep connection to the music, and personal memories from a lifetime around his grandfather, Nathan brings audiences an unforgettable evening filled with authentic bluegrass, emotion, and Appalachian heritage. A Dove Award winner, Grammy nominee, and ICM Award winner, Nathan Stanley continues the mission of preserving and sharing the music that helped inspire generations. His tribute show celebrates not only the remarkable career of Dr. Ralph Stanley, but also the family bond and musical legacy that continues to live on. Don’t miss this heartfelt tribute honoring one of bluegrass music’s greatest legends, performed by the grandson who knew him best. Nathan Stanley was the last lead singer for Dr. Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door general admission; $30 for student/low income individuals. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show. Doors open 30 minutes before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door. The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds.
