Many of us want to create spaces of belonging! Oer the years the humans of District Commons have birthed, maintained and closed many of these. We have many lessons learned and have worked hard to build things to help others get started! Come and hear about the tools, funds and learnings we have. 10:00 AM — Conscious Worlding: What are we even doing here? A look at the threads that make up our shared reality, and why it matters. 11:00 AM — Emotional Solidarities: Building these spaces is often about solidarity, connection and distributing care. Learn about how some of these approaches have come together in the form of the Second Life houses, the Alternative Justices project, Haight St commons and many more. 12:00 PM — BYO lunch, all together. 1:00 PM — RLF Fund Visioning: Help shape the vision and purpose of the fund. Bring your ideas — sticky notes and a wall await. 2:00 PM — HSC Pitch Event (Main Gallery): Pitch your project live. We have 5-10k to give away! Decisions (and funding) same day. 3:00 PM — Closing Plenary (tbc) 4:00 PM — Doors close
