About Medscool INST | SPTFY | BNDCMP | YUTB Medscool is a rock group from San Francisco created and fronted by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Maria Donjacour. Maria takes inspiration from a wide range of musicians such as Kate Bush, Jay Reatard and Ty Segall. She also pulls from her training as a dancer to create an engaging and lively performance. Maria's bandmates Marika Stuurman on bass, Ellie Stokes on keys, Sammie Dee Walinga on drums, and Jas Stade and Alex Wu on guitar add their own unique styles to the mix to create a powerful sound and uplift the presence of women and gender-nonconforming people on the concert stage. Medscool’s debut album RAW was released in January 2023, and EP Learning How To Fall was released June 2025. About Banshie INST | SPTFY Banshie is the solo project of Bay Area based musician Stella Orr. An immersive blend of ambient haze and psychedelic folk, driving fragile songwriting through a wall of distortion. Ghostly melodies carried by ethereal vocals. Striking a balance between silk and grit. Orr’s sound has been shaped by projects like Grouper, Broadcast, Chelsea Wolfe and writers such as Gertrude Stein. Her practice is informed by her time studying voice under Carmina Escobar at the California Institute of the Arts. It was at CalArts where Orr realized the most powerful tools at her disposal were her voice and her words This show will be held inside Smiley's Indoor evening shows at Smiley's are 21+ Standing room only Kitchen closes at 8pm No refunds on donations
