Early bird ends September 29th About the Instructor: Sabri Tunca is a fiber artist, designer, and educator originally from Istanbul, Turkey, now based in San Francisco. He has been working with felt for more than a decade, primarily using wet- and needle-felting techniques to create sculptural hats, wearable art, three-dimensional felt forms, wall works, and interior objects. His practice explores color, texture, transformation, and the sculptural possibilities of wool. Through workshops, he enjoys introducing participants to felt as an accessible and expressive material and encouraging them to develop their own individual forms. About Sunset Commons: Carmen and Steven started Sunset Commons to provide a space to connect and build community through arts and craft activities led by talented local artists. Inspired by a love for creativity and a desire to foster connection in the Sunset District, we envisioned a “third space” where neighbors can gather, unwind, and form meaningful relationships.
