Join designer and leatherworker Katie Roe in a fun, creative workshop making a personalised bookmark and keyring Join designer and leatherworker Katie Roe in a fun, creative workshop making a personalised bookmark and keyring that will make the perfect Christmas gifts for family or friends. You will select from a choice of tan, nude or grey vegetable tanned leather for your keyring and bookmark, and can pick from a range of leather off cuts to add detailing. Create a set that feels suited to any style, whether that be neutral and classic, or colourful and unique. You will learn how to burnish edges, add silver or brass rivets and operate the hot-foil machine to add initials and prints using a range of foil colours. The finished pieces will make thoughtful Christmas gifts, whether for yourself or someone special. All materials & aprons are provided. The workshop is suitable for those who have never picked up a leather crafting tool to the more experienced makers who love to learn new skills. Hot drinks and festive biscuits are included. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stitch-Up CIC is a social enterprise supporting people of all ages to learn new skills, improve wellbeing and connect with others through craft & creativity. Our studio is based at Meanwood Community Centre, Stainbeck Avenue, LS7 2QU. There is ample parking at the Community Centre Car Park. If you cannot fit in the Car Park, please park on Stainbeck Avenue and with consideration to the residents please do not park in the cul-de-sac. The Stitch-Up Studio is to the rear of the Community Centre. Once you arrive in reception please follow the signs for Stitch-Up or ring our door bell if the main entrance door is locked and we will come and let you in.
