Ivy brings the `tee-hee` to challenging gender norms, dating woes and the general tom foolery called life! @ivyleaguecomedy Kavita Singh She/Her | Bisexual · Cisgender Kavita Singh is a stand up comedian based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Her comedy is characterized as a 'vagina monologue.' You may have seen her in the newspaper for getting third in the Nassau County Spelling Bee, but she also runs a monthly women/queer comedy showcase in Berkeley called Bitchfest and a dope monthly comedy confessional show in Castro called Cake Shop. @kavitasingh200 Ashley Monique She/Her | Bisexual · Pansexual · Queer Ashley Monique is an Oakland-based comedian whose material draws from her unique experiences as a mixed race, first-generation American, being a queer woman, and growing up in Texas. She has performed at The Punch Line, Cobb’s Comedy Club, Mad House Comedy Club, and Savage Henry Comedy Festival. You can find where Ashley will be performing next on Instagram @trashleymonique. @trashleymonique Greg DePaul He/Him | Queer · Gay Greg DePaul is a Bay Area Comedian, performing in San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, and all throughout the California Central Valley. He has opened for Forest Shaw, Pete Angelo, Cookie Williams, and has performed at the Hi-Desert as well as the First Coast Comedy Festivals. Greg specializes in dark comedy, sexual innuendos, and very queer comedy. In his own words, Greg would describe himself as “Just your regular gay boy comedian that likes making dark jokes, and that doesn't mean he only talks about his butthole.” @thegregdepression · @thegregdepression on TikTok · @thegregdepression on YouTube Loren Kraut She/Her | Queer · Gay · Lesbian Loren is a writer and comedian in San Francisco, originally from NJ. She has performed in SF Sketchfest, SheDot Comedy Festival, Lysistrata Comedy Festival, Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival and The World Series of Comedy. She hosts a monthly show "Draw & Guffaw" where the audience draws the comics. Her Instagram reels of "LOL Little Old Lesbian" offers advice on living your best neurotic life. She created "Giraffe Corner", a video series with stuffed giraffes having therapy. Her solo show "A BIt Touched" won Best Comedy at the Tucson Fringe Festival in 2018. She lives with her cat, Scout, and an unprecedented number of giraffes. @loren.kraut · Facebook · @LorenKraut on YouTube Wonder Dave He/Him | Gay · Queer Wonder Dave is a comedian, writer and performer from Minneapolis, MN, living in California. He has toured the country performing at comedy clubs, colleges, cabarets, comic and science fiction conventions, burlesque shows, theaters, strip clubs, and bowling alleys. Wonder Dave hosts and produces Safe Words Showcase - Queer Sex Positive Comedy and SMILF - Straight Men I'd Like to Friend with producer Jonah Price, hosts Hysteria: Open Mic for Women and Queers, hosts and produces Mental Health Comedy Hour with comedian Kristee Ono, and Co-Hosts Ruckus and Rumpus Revival with Jamie DeWolf. He is a frequent commentator for acclaimed independent wrestling show Hoodslam, has been a featured storyteller on the Risk podcast, and was a producer for the podcast Nerd Rage The Great Debates. Safe Words is San Francisco's longest-running queer comedy showcase, held monthly at The SF Eagle. Each show is carefully curated to highlight both emerging talent and seasoned voices from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Our goal is to create a space where queer and trans performers can take the stage without compromise—and where queer audiences feel seen, celebrated, and safe.
