*SOLD OUT* HIMARI Makes Her San Francisco Symphony Debut

Arts from Japan is proud to present a can’t-miss milestone: the San Francisco Symphony debut of HIMARI, the 15-year-old violin sensation already hailed as a “once-in-a-generation talent.” Fresh off her history-making appearance with the Berliner Philharmoniker and a landmark exclusive signing with Decca Classics, HIMARI brings her extraordinary technique and soulful artistry to Davies Symphony Hall under the baton of celebrated conductor Jaap van Zweden. Program to be announced. Rarely does a young artist arrive with this much anticipation — this is a chance to witness a star in the making, live, before the rest of the world catches on. This is a co-promotional event in our inaugural Arts from Japan Season, presented by our partner, the San Francisco Symphony. For this co-promotional performance we’ve secured a limited block of premium tickets reserved for our members and friends, so we can experience this concert together. These tickets are offered for sale first to our Arts from Japan Founding Donors, then to our Leadership Circle, and then to our broader membership as availability allows. Once our allotment is purchased, we’re happy to connect our members directly to our partner’s box office, where a member discount rate may be available.
