By providing free access to radical cinema and supporting grassroots screenings, the project helps organizers, educators, and communities use film as a tool for learning, collective action, and social change. Come early to see Made in this Place: Bay Area Artists In Their Own Words, a new multimedia exhibition from Art is Awesome and KALW Public Media, in partnership with Ingleside Gallery, spotlighting 15 local artists. Solidarity Cinema happens the final Friday of every month at 8:00 pm. Please note: • The event space is just to the left of the main entrance to the Mills Building at 220 Montgomery Street • We recommend taking BART/MUNI, exiting at Montgomery, and walking two blocks north • Ride-shares can drop off and pick up directly in front of the venue • If you drive, there are several garages within two blocks of the event location
