Nearly 20% of adults in our community experience mental illness each year, that means our neighbors, colleagues, friends, and family members are navigating these challenges every day. Yet, fear and silence often prevent people from seeking the care and connection they need.

What to Expect • Insights from frontline advocacy and community service providers. • Learn more about navigating local resources and supporting family members, colleagues, or friends. • An open forum for attendees to ask questions and learn. Featured Panelists • Melissa Guariglia, PhD, Peninsula Family Connections • Rocio Cornejo Panameno, NAMI San Mateo County • Melissa Platte, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County • Moderator: Dr. Candice Arora, Co-Founder of The Arora Collective Whether you are seeking resources for yourself, supporting a loved one, fostering mental health awareness in your workplace, or simply looking to help build a more compassionate community, this conversation is for you. Admission is completely free, but advance registration is required to reserve your spot. Complimentary valet parking is available in addition to paid public parking in downtown Redwood City.
