Join the Middle East Children's Alliance for a special event featuring Ali Abunimah, executive director of The Electronic Intifada, discussing humanitarian efforts in Gaza. The event also includes a musical performance by accomplished violinist Basma Edrees and friends.

[[[More info on this and our Oct 23rd event with Ali Abunimah in Oakland coming very soon.]]] Join the Middle East Children's Alliance as we welcome Ali Abunimah for this special Silicon Valley event in solidarity with Palestinians who have been facing three years of ongoing genocide and learn more about MECA's humanitarian efforts in Gaza and beyond. We're also honored to welcome accomplished violinist Basma Edrees and friends for a special musical performance. Co-sponsored by Arab American Cultural Center of Silicon Valley Ali Abunimah is executive director of The Electronic Intifada. He is the author of One Country, and The Battle for Justice in Palestine. Basma Edrees is a graduate of The Juilliard School where she received her Masters in Violin Performance and Mannes School of Music where she received her Bachelors degree. Basma has served as Associate Concert Master of the Oakland Symphony.
