In-person class: Chicken Tikka Masala, Samosas & Butter Naan (Bay Area)

Chicken Tikka Masala, Samosas & Butter Naan Join Chef Rajeswari for a hands-on cooking experience inspired by the rich, aromatic flavors of North India! You’ll learn how to work with traditional spices and techniques while making a delicious spread of Indian favorites from scratch. Start the evening with a warm cup of masala chai and then get cooking! You’ll make crispy samosas filled with spiced potatoes and green peas, served with tangy chutney, followed by flavorful Chicken Tikka Masala featuring tender marinated chicken in a rich, creamy tomato sauce. You’ll also learn how to knead, shape, and cook soft, pillowy butter naan until bubbly and lightly charred, then finish the meal with homemade Gulab Jamun—golden, tender dumplings soaked in a fragrant cardamom- and rose-infused syrup. No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Raaje's place. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get comfortable. Guests ages 21+ are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
