Meditative Mark-Making

Unwind, de-stress, and have fun all while tapping into your creative side! Using a variety of provided art supplies, you will practice simple mark-making on paper that can be turned into something beautiful for you to keep or share. More importantly, regular mark-making can benefit your cognitive ability, focus, and overall well-being. Join Mountain View artist Usha Mishra for an afternoon of creativity and relaxation. She will show you simple techniques to make marks on paper, using ink, paint, pencil, and more. You’ll be amazed at how your creativity is unearthed - even if you think you’re not a “creative type.” Usha will also share tips on how to turn your work into postcards, greeting cards, and more. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged. Wine & non-alcoholic refreshments provided by Rootstock will be available for purchase.
