Ren Geisick at Little Green Live 9/18/26

Soul-infused Americana artist Ren Geisick returns to Little Green with her band. Singer-songwriter Anna Seitz opens. LG Live RWC is an artist-focused concert series, held on the middle Fridays of every month, and hosted at Redwood City plant/gift shop and cafe Little Green A Plant Bar (named after the Joni Mitchell song, in case you were wondering). Set in a lush, plant-filled cafe with high ceilings, the series has hosted nearly 100 concerts and countless local music artists since January 2023. Many new works have debuted here over the last three and a half years, and both artists and audiences alike have enjoyed the cafe's intimate and comfortable, warmly-lit setting. These concerts are held free to the public, are for all ages, and supported thanks to pay-what-you-can donations made by audience members. Little Green A Plant Bar's retail shop is open 30 minutes before and after concert hours. The RWC library lot across the street also offers free parking after 8pm. About the artists: Performing since 2011, Ren Geisick is a beloved voice in the South Bay music scene. With a background in Jazz and influences of country-western music of the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s, Ren brings a distinctive blend of classic and contemporary storytelling to her work. On June 20, 2025, she released her second album, and first full project of all original material, featuring standout tracks like the 1970s-style country anthem “The Outlaw Song” and the modern Americana heartbreaker-with-a-beat, “Don’t Start Telling Me the Truth.” Ren pairs powerful vocals with heartfelt lyricism and a killer band including Jeff Goodkind, William Bohrer, Keenan Lewis and Jim Kassis. Northern California singer-songwriter Anna Seitz’s acoustic-oriented music combines the literate and poetic sensibilities of artists such as Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon, the sunny optimism of a Colbie Caillat, and the authenticity of Alison Krauss, all coming from the perspective of someone who is serious about her Christian faith. “I love to see how the songs I have written can bring encouragement and joy to a world that needs more of it” Anna says. “I hope people will come away from my songs with a fresh joy, a new perspective, and having had fun listening to them!"
