Join 25 West Gallery for a discussion and book signing for Waiting in the Wings with author, curator, educator, and activist Salima Hashmi. Waiting in the Wings is Salima Hashmi’s memoir, which explores her upbringing in the years following Partition, particularly within a politically engaged family. Her father, notably, was the renowned Pakistani poet and political activist Faiz Ahmed Faiz. Waiting in the Wings will be available for purchase at the event. There will also be a Q&A.
