A 30-person Life Sciences working session connecting R&D, regulatory/quality, and commercialization through practical roundtable problems. The Bio Table: Life Sciences Working Roundtables — Pleasanton Not an industry conference. A working table for people who understand the work from different sides.” Life Sciences work rarely happens inside one function. R&D makes a decision that affects regulatory. Regulatory requirements reshape development. Commercial realities influence what needs to be understood long before launch. But most industry events still separate those conversations into presentations, panels, and networking breaks. The Bio Table is designed differently. This is a 30-person working roundtable for people actively working in Life Sciences. There is no traditional conference stage. There is no long panel discussion. Instead, attendees are first grouped by function, then rotated into practical working tables built around shared industry problems. The goal is not to solve confidential company problems in public. The goal is to understand how the same operating challenge looks from R&D, regulatory/quality, and commercialization perspectives. WHO THIS EVENT IS FOR The Bio Table is designed for professionals working in or closely with Life Sciences organizations. Relevant areas may include: • Biotechnology • Pharmaceuticals • Medical technology • Diagnostics • Life Sciences tools • Research organizations • Healthcare innovation • Product development Participants should be actively working in a function relevant to the roundtable format. FUNCTIONAL LANES During registration, select the function that most closely matches your current work. R&D / DEVELOPMENT Examples may include: • Research • Discovery • Preclinical development • Translational work • Assay development • Product development • Technical operations REGULATORY / QUALITY Examples may include: • Regulatory affairs • Quality systems • Quality assurance • Compliance • Documentation • Submission readiness • Regulatory operations COMMERCIALIZATION / MARKET Examples may include: • Product strategy • Commercial planning • Market access • Partnerships • Business development • Launch readiness • Adoption strategy Your selection is used only for table routing. HOW THE BIO TABLE WORKS The room is organized into small working tables rather than audience seating. Each round has a different purpose. ROUND 1 — SAME FUNCTION Begin with people working closest to your own part of the Life Sciences process. The table focuses on recurring operating friction inside that function. The objective is to establish context quickly without spending the first half of the event explaining what your team actually does. ROUND 2 — WORKING PROBLEM Participants rotate to a table built around an anonymized Life Sciences operating problem. Examples may include: • Cross-functional handoffs • Development-to-regulatory communication • Preparing processes for scale • Commercial input during development • Documentation friction • Decision ownership • Maintaining context across functions These are discussion problems rather than confidential case reviews. ROUND 3 — CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TABLE The final round intentionally mixes functions. A development professional may hear how a regulatory team interprets the same issue. A commercialization professional may see why an apparently simple market request creates development complexity. A regulatory professional may hear what information another team actually needs in order to act. The goal is perspective, not consensus. WORKING PROBLEMS Before the event, registered attendees may submit one general work challenge. The organizer may use these submissions to create anonymized or composite working problems for the roundtables. Submitted problems should be described at a general level. Do not include: • Confidential company data • Patient-identifiable information • Protected health information • Unpublished study data that you are not authorized to share • Trade secrets • Proprietary formulas or processes • Confidential regulatory correspondence • Confidential contracts • Sensitive pricing information • Material non-public company information
