Make Fairy Doors with Hallie Croall

Add whimsy and magic to your humble adobe with the addition of a fairy door Welcome a dash of magic and whimsy into your home this season! In this eco-conscious, upcycling workshop, creatives will design and make miniature fairy doors using found objects. Join local artist Hallie Croall in a fantastical evening full of creativity and learn how you can transform everyday items and recyclable materials into something magical. These miniature fairy doors are perfect to display (or hide) around your home - on baseboards or bookshelves, in houseplant pots, or attached directly to your walls. Who knows, maybe you’ll entice a fairy to move in! In this class you will learn basic painting techniques for weathering, composition tips for layering materials, and overall design planning using objects that would otherwise end up in landfill. You might work with cardboard, fake moss, tiny knick knacks, paper, or wooden sticks! All upcycled materials, natural supplies, paints, and adhesives are provided by Local Color's Creative Outlet. This workshop is perfect for creatives of all ages and skill levels. See you there! ~Hallie
