Hauliwood Dreams - Midlife Crisis Halloween Weekend continues at the Whisky

A former Mormon tradwife turned singer, Finnish actor comedian, and unicycling accordionist defy midlife by still "living the dream" This Finnish-American band blends infectious Euro dance beats, traditional folk instrumentation, and sharp, self-aware humor into a live show that’s equal parts concert, cabaret, and communal therapy session. Based between Los Angeles and Northern Minnesota, the group is made up of four artists stubbornly clinging to the dream: Powerhouse singer/producer MARIA VOLTAINE, accordion wizard STEVE SOLKELA, guitarist/comic MISKA KAJANUS, and (featuring on occasion) DJ/producer JAAKKO MANNINEN. Whether they’re serenading a sauna party in Estonia or dancing in the ruins of their youth in LA, Hauliwood Dreams invites you to laugh, dance, and root for every gloriously messy moment. This show is a continuation from the Halloween album release party of Maria Voltaine's solo album, "Manthology," which depicts male stereotypes such as "Retro Man," "Boring," "Giga Chad," "Divine Masculine," and a "Requiem for the Ghost."
