This time, our culinary journey takes us to Panamá, a country shaped by centuries of movement, migration, and cultural exchange. Indigenous traditions, Afro-Caribbean heritage, Spanish influences, Chinese migration, and other global communities have all contributed to a cuisine that is distinctly Panamanian. Featuring: Hojaldre con Queso (Fried Bread with Cheese) Carimañola (Crispy Yuca Fritter with a Savory Beef Filling) Siu Mai (Savory Steamed Dumpling) Sancocho Panameño (Traditional Chicken Soup) Panama’s beloved chicken soup, prepared with root vegetables, herbs, and the distinctive flavor of culantro. One Pot de Colón An Afro-Caribbean specialty from Colón featuring savory proteins, coconut-infused rice, aromatic herbs, and Caribbean spices. Sopa Borracha (Rum-Soaked Cake) A traditional Panamanian cake soaked in a fragrant, spiced rum syrup for a sweet and spirited finish.
