But behind every meaningful gathering is a community of people who help bring it to life. We'd love for you to be part of it! We're looking for volunteers who want to show up, lend a hand, meet new people, and help create a welcoming space where our culture and community can shine. Whether you're Filipino, part of the Filipino community, or simply someone who appreciates different cultures and wants to get involved, there's a place for you here. You don't need event experience, just your willingness to help and a good community spirit. ✨ How you can help We're looking for volunteers to support different areas of the event, including: • Event setup & breakdown: Help prepare the space before the event and pack up afterward. • Guest welcome & Wayfinding: Help guests feel welcome and find their way around. • Vendor support: Assist artists, makers, and vendors with event-day needs. • Stage & entertainment support: Help our performers and production team keep things running smoothly. • Cultural experience support: Assist with community activities, the memorial dedication, and other event experiences. • General event support: Be an extra set of hands wherever the team needs you. A separate email will be sent with volunteer shift schedules, assigned roles, job responsibilities, and additional event-day details. We’ll coordinate assignments closer to the event. Thank you for volunteering and being part of Spirits of the Baryo! ❤️ Why volunteer with us? Because community is what makes this festival possible. It's a chance to connect with others, support Filipino creatives, celebrate our stories and traditions, and be part of something that brings people together. You might come as a volunteer, but you'll leave having helped create an experience that means something to someone. Bring your positive energy, your willingness to help, and your community spirit. We'll work together to make this a memorable night. Please note that volunteer arrival times may be earlier than event opening, and some assignments may extend beyond 10:00 PM. Final shift details will be shared with registered volunteers. 🍽️ We've got our volunteers covered! We know that putting on an event takes a village, and we want to make sure our volunteers are taken care of, too! ❤️ Volunteer meals will be provided as a small thank-you for sharing your time, energy, and heart with us. We appreciate every helping hand that makes Spirits of the Baryo possible, and we want you to feel just as supported as the community you're helping us serve. Come ready to lend a hand, connect with our community, and be part of something meaningful. We'll take care of the food! One Baryo. One Community. Many stories. 🇵🇭✨ 🙌 Ready to join us? Sign up to volunteer and help bring Spirits of the Baryo to life. Every helping hand makes a difference, and we're grateful to have you in our community. One Baryo. One Community. Many stories. We can't wait to see you there! ❤️
