About this event

What to Expect As a facilitator, you'll be paired with one small group of students throughout the UCLA Ropes Course experience. You'll lead your group through the day's activities by providing encouragement, guiding discussions, and creating opportunities for meaningful reflection. Rather than focusing on the physical challenges themselves, your role is to help students process their experiences and connect each activity to their personal growth and the Youth Champions curriculum. Throughout the day, you'll ask thoughtful questions, encourage participation, and help students recognize the strengths, resilience, and teamwork they demonstrate during each challenge. No prior ropes course experience is required. We'll provide the guidance and resources you need—you simply bring your enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to helping students grow.
