Boo! at The Bay | Family Halloween Celebration

Enjoy a not-so-scary evening of trick-or-treating, free pumpkin picking, yard games, a family movie under the stars, and more! Boo! at The Bay is presented by Gulf Coast Community Foundation. Costumes are encouraged (not required) for this not-so-spooky special event. Pumpkins are available on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 1,800 kids. Schedule of Events: • 4:30-7:45pm | Food Trucks (Come hungry!) • 5:00-6:30pm | Trick-or-Treating, FREE Pumpkin Picking and Decorating, and more! • 6:30-7:45pm | Family Movie Night: The Nightmare Before Christmas --SING-ALONG VERSION (Please bring a lawn chair to make sure you have a comfortable seat!) Candy will be available throughout the park, including along the trick-or-treat decorated trail thanks to Gulf Coast Community Foundation, Kimley-Horn, NCL Sarasota, REI Co-op Sarasota, Sarasota Bay Explorers, Sarasota Paradise, Sweet Sparkman, Venice Pier Group, Visit Sarasota County, Wilhelm Brothers, Williams Parker, and more! Delicious tastes served by Big Blue Grilled Cheese Company, Harvest & Heart, Nako's Takos, Rita's Italian Ice, and Wingz N Thingz. Boo-licious Lemonade and other beverages will be available at The Nest Café. Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation Teaching Artists will inspire you to decorate your FREE pumpkin in ways you never imagined. Don't forget to take a family Halloween picture at one of the photo-ops including the station created by an Art Center Sarasota talented artist. NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, this event will be POSTPONED to Sat, Oct 24. Please plan ahead: The Bay may be especially busy on Sat, Oct 17, with events at the Van Wezel and Holley Hall, so please arrive early, be patient and kind, consider alternative transportation, or park off-site and walk. Free Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in front of the Van Wezel (777 N. Tamiami Trail), Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda (655 N. Tamiami Trail), as well as along the north side of Blvd of the Arts and in the nearby Rosemary District. Please avoid parking on the south side of Blvd of the Arts and in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Additional Free Parking is available in Centennial Park Public Boat Launch area (1059 N.
