Tide Trekker – Sunny Shores Park Paddle Cleanup

Grab a paddle and join us for a morning of shoreline cleanup at Sunny Shores Park! Tide Trekkers are a great way to combine time on the water with hands-on conservation. During this cleanup, volunteers will paddle along the shoreline, collecting trash and debris along the way and helping keep our local waterways and surrounding habitat clean. No kayak? No problem! Manatee County Natural Resources will provide the kayaks, paddles, safety equipment, and everything else needed for the cleanup. Whether you’re a regular Tide Trekker or joining us for the first time, come spend some time on the water and help make a difference in our local environment. What to bring: • Water bottle • Comfortable clothes that can get wet • Sun protection • Closed-toe shoes that are secure for paddling • Work gloves, if you have a favorite pair All necessary kayaking and cleanup equipment will be provided.
