The Emporium Global Table: From the Andes

October’s Emporium Global Table invites guests to experience Argentina through a thoughtfully curated multi-course dining experience inspired by the country’s cuisine, winemaking traditions, and sense of place. Argentina’s table is shaped by a landscape of remarkable contrasts, from sweeping grasslands to the dramatic peaks of the Andes. Along the foothills of the mountains, high-altitude vineyards and abundant sunshine have helped shape one of the world’s most distinctive wine cultures, while the country’s culinary traditions celebrate fire, generous flavors, and the simple pleasure of gathering around the table. Throughout the evening, each course will draw inspiration from the flavors of Argentina and be thoughtfully paired with wines selected to complement the menu and offer a taste of the regions from which they come. Our journey takes its cue from the Andes, whose influence can be felt throughout Argentina’s celebrated wine country. Here, elevation, climate, and terrain create distinctive growing conditions for varieties including the country’s signature Malbec. Rooted in Southern hospitality and shaped by a global point of view, the experience reflects the spirit of Perry Lane’s muse, Adelaide Harcourt, a Savannah native whose travels brought worldly inspiration home to be shared around the table. Emporium Global Table takes place on the third Thursday of each month, with every dinner exploring a new destination through cuisine, wine, and conversation.
