One of our members Gerardo at our last Mindfulness Coffee & Consciousness event recommended a fantastic little gem with Zen reflections and A member of the Confident Connections group I oversee recommended a fantastic little gem with Zen reflections and stories. The book is called Zen Flesh, Zen Bones. It is so good! I was hooked on page 1! Join us for thoughtful conversations about selected readings from the book and how we might interpret them in our own lives, from finding greater peace and perspective to approaching everyday experiences with more awareness. You don’t need to own or have read the book to join us, though you might prefer it. If you have a copy please do bring it ❤️ Those interested are invited to RSVP separately for our lunch event immediately before this one at Slanted Rice just a few minutes away where we’ll connect over favorite things! All guests are asked to order food/drink and tip (at guest's expense) to ensure our hosting establishment feels appreciated for their service. ✨ Your $5 ticket reserves your spot and is nonrefundable. Please plan on ordering food/drink at the coffeeshop at guest's expense to support our hosting establishment.
