This experiential group workshop is for you if you want to deepen your understanding and practice of Ethical Non-Monogamy in partnership. How To Be Ethically Non-Monogmous (ENM) Date: Sunday, October 18th from 8:30am to 4pm Location: 1204 Minor Ave, Seattle WA Cost: $200 per person ($175 for early bird!) **Participants are asked to attend with someone meaningful who is also wanting to explore ENM so you can practice skills and share reflections in real time with a trusted partner. Taught by therapists Ruth Bryan and Alyx Steadman, How to Be Ethically Non‑Monogamous is a one‑day workshop for people who want to begin or deepen their practice of ethical non‑monogamy. The class is therapeutically informed and draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, IFS/parts work, the Wheel of Consent, somatic practices, and contemporary thinking about attachment and polyamory. The structure is designed to balance cognitive learning, experiential practice, and personal reflection. Ethical non‑monogamy asks for clarity, emotional honesty, and the ability to stay connected even when big feelings arise — this workshop helps you build the foundation to do that with confidence and care. This class may be for you if you want to: • expand your relationship(s) to include a new or deeper dimension of ethical non‑monogamy • understand why past attempts at ENM felt overwhelming, confusing, or didn’t go the way you hoped • strengthen your communication around desire, boundaries, and expectations • clarify your relational patterns — especially what happens for you during conflict or activation • build deeper empathy for the fears, hopes, and needs that show up in yourself and your partners • feel more grounded and normalize the emotional experiences and practices common to ethical non‑monogamy Content Overview: Understanding Yourself • Mapping your patterns of connection and disconnection • Clarifying your desires, limits, and values around relational expansion • Exploring how your nervous system responds to stress, jealousy, and uncertainty • Getting to know the “parts” of you that show up in non‑monogamous dynamics Strengthening Communication + Connection • Developing communication skills that support honesty, repair, and emotional safety • Navigating the balance between independence and interdependence • Strengthening rituals of connection and practices that sustain intimacy over time Building a Sustainable ENM Framework • Making meaning: identifying why ethical non‑monogamy matters to you • Building relational agreements rooted in clarity rather than fear
