Join us for a rare Lake Union Public Sail aboard Adventuress! Our 2-hour Public Sails are designed to get everybody involved, and no sailing experience is required. They are a perfect way to explore Lake Union and learn about our unique marine environment while sailing aboard the historic schooner Adventuress. From the moment we get under way you'll be invited to help raise the sails or take a turn at the wheel. As we explore the waters, the crew will explain it's unique marine environment and share the history of Adventuress. Then listen to a sea chantey, a talk from an on-board guest or crew member -- or just sit back and take in the whole experience. Reflecting on our Nation’s Milestone As we mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Sound Experience recognizes this historic milestone in American democracy. Please Note Infants aged 0-1 are free, but must have a ticket. The US Coast Guard regulates exactly how many people are on board, including infants and young children.
