Attend the disaster food garden party called the Quake ‘n’ Bake to sample freeze-dried meals, the military version of fine dining called MREs (Meals Ready to Eat), and an assortment of dried- and canned-goods, all with long shelf life. The event also includes demonstrations of how the food is prepared and stored, as well as an overview of the cost. Wine pairings (not included in the ticket price) are available for the various entrees to extract maximum flavor.
