Watch & Play at Shadle Park Library: Super Why, Super YOU!

Calling all Super Readers! Join KSPS PBS KIDS for our free monthly Watch & Play and take home fun PBS KIDS giveaways. Super Why's Comic Book Adventures helps young children build the early literacy skills they need to become confident readers through stories, favorite characters, and playful problem-solving. Each episode focuses on an important reading skill; helping children explore letters, sounds, words, spelling, and story comprehension. Families can keep the learning going beyond the screen with games, activities, and booksthat give young readers even more opportunities to learn through play. Families will enjoy SUPER WHY! together and take part in fun, hands-on literacy activities inspired by the program. It’s a playful way for parents and children to explore reading together and discover that every child can have the power to become a reader!
