Martin Woods Winery Wine Dinner

Join us for an evening of food and wine pairings featuring bottles from the Martin Woods Winery! The year is beginning to wind down and the holidays are approaching faster than any of us would probably like! Which is more than enough reason for us to host an event featuring one of our absolute favorite vineyards when it comes to Oregon Pinot Noir - the Martin Woods Winery! There will be MUCH MORE for attendees to enjoy beyond Pinot Noir. But with this event being held exactly two weeks before Thanksgiving, well, it just seemed like the obvious thing to do. Martin Woods isn't just another winery, instead, it is an oak-forested sanctuary in the foothills of the western Willamette Valley. It is the home of Owner & Winemaker Evan Martin, who built the winery in 2017. The widely-lauded Martin Woods wines promote the notions of graceful power and elegant complexity — a delicately balanced tension of opposites that can only result from the combination of great terroir, observant farming, and meticulous, patient winemaking. Martin Woods is helping redefine the essence of what Oregon Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah can and should be. The wines take inspiration from and are benchmarked against the top wines of France, yet they always present the beautiful, singular voice of Oregon. Here to guide us through all these great bottles will be our very special guest and certified wine sommelier Shannon Behnen of Vintegrity Wines. Shannon's years of experience will be yet another perfect pairing to these great wines. Shannon always makes these events a lot of fun along with being educational. So if you want to sip some amazing wines, eat some great food, and learn a lot about wine this may just be the perfect event for you! This event will include five of the vineyard's wine, with each glass enjoyed with a complimenting food pairing. Consider joining us as a little a treat to yourself before finding yourself thrown into the rush of the holidays. Not sure what wines to serve on Turkey Day? Pinot Noir is the essential grape for the bird and all the fixings. So maybe think of this as doing a little homework for what you'll pour for family and friends on Thanksgiving. It's totally fine if you need to take a few bottles home for further, ahem, "research". Tickets for all this food, wine, and fun are only $60/person! Refund Policy: If notified 72 hours or more before the event we are happy to provide guests with a full refund of your ticket price (Eventbrite will not refund any fees). If you should need to cancel in less than 72 hours, we can either roll your tickets over into a different event or offer you a store credit for the ticket price (which will not include Eventbrite fees).
