SIUE Black Alumni Reunion Weekend 2027

Come home for the fourth SIUE Black Alumni Reunion Weekend! The SIUE Black Alumni Reunion Weekend, presented by the SIUE Black Alumni Alliance and the SIUE Alumni Association, is a signature weekend dedicated to celebrating Black excellence, recognizing outstanding alumni, honoring our shared legacy, and bringing our community back together. This year’s theme is In Living Color — a celebration of the many expressions of Black excellence that have shaped the SIUE Black Alumni experience. Inspired by the bold creativity, vibrant energy, cultural pride, music, style, humor, and self-expression of the iconic era, this year’s reunion will highlight the many “colors” of our community — from leadership and legacy to fellowship, wellness, culture, joy, and connection. The countdown is on as we invite SIUE alumni from across the country back to campus April 15–18, 2027, for the 4th Black Alumni Reunion Weekend. Join alumni across the decades as we come together to celebrate the past, present, and future of SIUE, reconnect with former classmates, meet new faces, relive memories, and create new ones. This event is open to all alumni and their registered guests — whether you graduated decades ago, recently crossed the stage, attended for a semester, lived on campus, commuted to campus, or simply want to reconnect with the SIUE Black alumni community. This is a weekend you do not want to miss. Check out the full list of events planned for the weekend below.
