Join St. Luke's experts during Menopause Month with weekly health talks. In-person and online options available. October is Menopause Month and St. Luke's experts are offering weekly health talks about how to prevent, treat and manage health conditions associated with menopause. This series is for women in perimenopause and menopause who want to take action for better health and quality of life. Talks begin at 6 pm. Join us in-person or online for one or all four sessions: October 6 Embrace Change: Strategies for Managing Urinary Stress Incontinence with urologist Salim Hawatmeh, MD, and physical therapist, Angie Sellers October 13 Your Health, Your Future: Proactive Health Screenings for Menopause and Beyond with women's health practitioner, Melissa Wallace, WHNP-BC October 20 Strength in Bones: Empowering Knowledge on Osteoporosis Prevention and Care with ob/gyn Molly Magrath, MD October 27 Hormonal Clarity: Transforming Menopause Symptoms into Strength with peri-menopause and menopause specialist Maggie Marcrander, MD You are able to attend these conversations in person at the St. Luke's Auditorium in the Institute for Health Education or at the Teams link that will be sent out by e-mail upon registration. The Institute for Health Education is on the 2nd level of the North Medical Building. Access via Atrium stairs or North Medical Building elevators. Parking is available in the North/South Garage or open lots near the north and east entrances (best access at this time of day). When you come inside, go down the elevator or stairs and you will see the atrium and auditorium.
