Residents of West St. Pete CommUNITY Meeting

Hosted by the Stronger Together St. Pete Foundation in partnership with neighborhood associations throughout West St. Pete, the meeting will bring residents together with city leaders, public safety officials, community organizations, and local resources for an evening of updates, information, and connection. The evening will begin with a Community Resource Fair from 5:30 to 6:00 PM, giving residents the opportunity to connect directly with participating city departments, agencies, neighborhood organizations, and community partners. The main program will begin at 6:00 PM and is expected to include: Opening remarks from Aron Bryce, Founder & President of Stronger Together St. Pete Foundation A welcome from St. Petersburg Catholic High School President Ross Bubolz A City of St. Petersburg update from Council Member Copley Gerdes A public safety update from the St. Petersburg Police Department An update from St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, including the incoming, new West St. Pete fire station A Codes Compliance update An update on the Science Center from Joe Hamilton An update on Jungle Prada Pier from Juliana Fisher An overview of the ballot questions appearing before voters this fall Announcements from West St. Pete neighborhood associations Closing remarks from Aron Bryce The goal of the CommUNITY Meeting is simple: bring West St. Pete together, make important local information more accessible, connect residents directly with the people and organizations serving our community, and create more opportunities for neighbors to get involved. Whether you have questions about what is happening in your neighborhood, want to hear directly from local leaders, or simply want to become more connected to West St. Pete, we hope you will join us.
