More than 400 guests joined us for our Modesto debut, making it one of our biggest first-time events to date. From the sing-alongs to the dancing, the energy throughout the afternoon was something special. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the city. So, we're doing it again. On Sunday, November 15th, DJ Heartbreak & Friends return to Sidelines Whiskey Jack's for another afternoon of R&B, great food, drinks, and community. The R&B Brunch was created around the music that brings people together. From the records you grew up listening to, to the songs you still know every word to today, this is an opportunity to enjoy the soundtrack of your life alongside hundreds of people who love the music just as much as you do. Whether you joined us for our first edition or you're experiencing The R&B Brunch for the first time, we can't wait to welcome you. CHOOSE YOUR EXPERIENCE: TWO SEATINGS, TWO DIFFERENT ENERGIES One thing we've learned from hosting The R&B Brunch throughout California is that no two seatings are ever quite the same. While both feature the music, food, and atmosphere you've come to expect from us, each seating tends to develop its own personality. FIRST SEATING | 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM A LITTLE MORE LAID-BACK. If you're looking for a more relaxed Sunday brunch experience, we recommend booking our first seating. Expect plenty of classic R&B, familiar favorites, sing-alongs, and an atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy your food, drinks, and conversations with friends. The energy is still there, but the earlier seating generally moves at a more comfortable, laid-back pace. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the music without necessarily feeling like they're at a day party. SECOND SEATING | 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM A LITTLE MORE OF A PARTY. For whatever reason, our second seating always seems to turn things up a notch! The music gets a little louder, we mix in a little more hip-hop alongside the R&B, and there's usually a lot more dancing. If you're coming with a group of friends, celebrating something special, or simply want to let loose on a Sunday afternoon, this might be the seating for you. Think of it as brunch gradually turning into a daytime party. IMPORTANT: These descriptions reflect the typical atmosphere of our events, not two completely different shows. Both seatings feature R&B music, great food, and the signature DJ Heartbreak experience. The energy ultimately depends on the crowd, and we encourage guests to choose the seating that best matches their preferences. INDOOR BRUNCH EXPERIENCE For our November edition, The R&B Brunch will take place indoors at Sidelines Whiskey Jack's. We're excited to bring everyone together again for an afternoon of music, food, drinks, and community in the venue's indoor event space. With two separate seatings, our team will be working closely with the venue to accommodate guests and provide an enjoyable experience throughout the day. Please note that seating and table arrangements will be determined by the venue's indoor configuration and available capacity. BRUNCH & BUFFET INFORMATION Brunch will be served buffet style to help accommodate the large number of guests attending throughout the day. There is a mandatory $30 buffet purchase per guest, payable directly to the venue on the day of the event. PLEASE NOTE: YOUR EVENTBRITE TICKET DOES NOT INCLUDE THE $30 BUFFET. Your Eventbrite ticket provides admission to The R&B Brunch experience. The buffet is a separate, required purchase collected by the venue. All guests attending should plan for this additional expense before purchasing their tickets. Additional beverages and any items not included in the buffet will be available for purchase at the venue, subject to availability and venue pricing. SEATING, ARRIVAL & EVENT FLOW This event features two completely separate seatings, and guests must attend the seating associated with their purchased ticket. FIRST SEATING: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM First-seating guests must conclude their experience and exit the designated event area by 1:30 PM. Our team will then reset and prepare the space for the second seating. SECOND SEATING: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM Second-seating guests will not be admitted into the designated brunch seating area before 2:30 PM. Guests who arrive early may visit the venue's bar, subject to availability and venue policies, but early arrival does not provide early access to event seating. Please plan your arrival around your designated seating time. Additional seating policies: • Guests may not remain in the designated event area between seatings. • Purchasing a ticket for one seating does not provide admission to the other. • Seating may be communal depending on party size and venue configuration. • Purchasing multiple tickets does not automatically guarantee a private table or exclusive seating area. • Guests wishing to sit together are encouraged to purchase tickets under the same reservation and arrive together.
