Full description from organizerShow less
A night of liberating experimental psych rock, noise, drone, and freeform heavy shredding. Prison: Prison’s third big one, Big Rigs on the BQE, finds our jammers of legend far away—miles from Downstate (2025) and Upstate (2023): driving further down the road, Prison’s guitar, bass and drums compel them to dream LOUD. An improvised rock and roll tapestry, multiple impulses, intersections and lifelines rended with gas ‘n guitar pedal on down to the metal. Reflecting real lives lived today, sprawled and recalled in undulating electroacoustic performance. https://prisonjam.bandcamp.com/album/big-rigs-on-the-bqe A Parallax View: Realities and Ideals is the third album by east coast experimental rock band A Parallax View, featuring a live recording of An Evening Redness, a home studio recording of Tundra, and the introduction to a larger track Plugged into the Sun https://aparallaxview.bandcamp.com/album/realities-and-ideals Flux in a Constant State: Smooth Noize/Nü Age/Nô(o) Wave Mu(zak) as a vehicle for Nouveau Shamanic Gnosis. https://fluxinaconstantstate.bandcamp.com/album/iv-the-heads Presented by Fair Lawn Rocks and Prototype 237 https://www.instagram.com/fairlawnrocks/ https://www.prototype237.com/ https://www.instagram.com/prototypepaterson/
