DIY Art Digitizing Workshop

For artists looking to create small prints/greeting cards on a budget. Learn how to digitize your 8x10 (or smaller) artwork with your phone! Come out for our first DIY art digitizing workshop! We'll walk you through the finicky steps that it takes to capture your artwork on a budget. Steps will include how to accomplish the best lighting without professional equipment, white balance, and capturing just enough detail for recreating small prints and greeting cards. *Coffee will be served! Who this event is best suited for: This event is best suited for artists just starting out recreating prints for their first time, or those who aren't too picky about color accuracy and nuanced details. Learning to digitize your own artwork with a smartphone or camera is a perfectly fine way to get started on your printing journey. This event is NOT intended for: There are some limits to the DIY route. If you're wanting larger sized prints, accurate colors, and tack sharp details, we recommend skipping the DIY way and having us professionally digitize your work with our state of the art in-house scanner. This workshop is meant for artists who are new to printing their art, or those who aren't particularly seeking professional quality results. What you need: • Smartphone or digital camera (*we will not be instructing how to use your camera!) • One original artwork under 8"x10"
