Mike Brown

Mike Brown brings storytelling, roots rock & foot-stompin’ Americana to The Main Pub, with live guitar, dobro & mandolin. Join us at The Main Pub for a night with singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Mike Brown. Performing more than 200 shows a year across the country, Brown brings a storyteller’s sensibility and a spontaneous approach to the stage. His influences span the songwriting of Tom Petty, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Tom Waits, and Bob Dylan, alongside the roots-driven sound of The Band and the independent spirit of Wilco. Using live looping to layer guitar, dobro, and mandolin, Brown builds performances that range from quiet, intimate moments to foot-stompin’ energy. Stories connect the songs, making each evening an opportunity to hear both the music and the experiences behind it. That adventurous spirit also shaped his debut album, American Hotel: an eight-year recording journey across all 50 states featuring 75 guest musicians, including members of The Band, Los Lobos, Wilco, Counting Crows, and The Wallflowers. Make a night of it with dinner, a drink, and Mike Brown live at The Main Pub.
