Full description from organizer

Meet Houston dealmakers in person to swap insights, spot opportunities, and make valuable connections. Houston Deal Signal Exchange Houston does not have a shortage of real estate networking events. The harder problem is knowing why you should speak to someone in the room. A buyer may be looking for a specific type of opportunity. An operator may have experience that solves someone else's execution problem. A lender may want to understand what types of projects are currently moving through the local market. A broker, contractor, property manager or professional specialist may have valuable capability but no efficient way to identify where it is relevant. Houston Deal Signal Exchange is designed around that problem. Every attendee works from three signals: WHAT I HAVE What capability, resource, professional experience or relationship could be useful to someone else? WHAT I NEED What are you actively looking for right now? WHO I SHOULD MEET Which type of professional could make your next step easier, faster or better informed? The organizer uses those signals before the event to prepare initial table placements and potential introductions. The live experience then follows: SIGNAL → SORT → MATCH → INTRODUCE → FOLLOW UP There is: • no keynote; • no investment seminar; • no public fundraising presentation; • no open-mic pitch session; • no guaranteed financing; • no guaranteed transaction; • no promise that a specific investor, lender, buyer or partner will attend. Who Should Attend Designed for professionals working in or around: • real estate investing; • property ownership; • acquisitions; • lending; • brokerage; • development; • construction; • property management; • title and closing; • accounting and tax; • insurance; • real-estate operations; • relevant professional services. This is not a Real Estate Investing 101 workshop. Guests should arrive with a clear: professional objective; capability; resource; business need. • 5:40–6:00 PM - Check-In + Signal Confirmation Attendees receive: name badge; Deal Signal Card; starting table assignment; QR access to the private Signal Board. Guests verify their submitted signals. Staff makes limited placement adjustments. • 6:00–6:10 PM - How the Exchange Works Orientation covering: Signal system; Digital Signal Board; table rotations; matching; professional conduct; attendee privacy; Double Opt-in follow-up; no public pitching; no guaranteed commercial outcomes. • 6:10–6:35 PM - Signal Tables: What I Have Groups of approximately 5–6. Prompt: What are you genuinely useful for right now? Participants briefly describe capabilities, resources or relevant professional experience. This is not an elevator-pitch competition. • 6:35–7:00 PM - Need Tables: What I’m Looking For Second structured rotation. Prompt: What would make the next 90 days easier, faster or more effective? Examples: financing relationships; acquisition connections; buyer relationships; brokerage support; contractors; operations; management; specialist expertise; referrals. • 7:00–7:15 PM - Reset + Final Match Adjustment Short break. Facilitators review: updated Signal Cards; no-shows; room composition; pre-built match suggestions. Only limited adjustments should occur here. The 36-person matching map should already be substantially prepared. • 7:15–7:45 PM - Match Round Selected pairs, trios and small groups connect around: Capital ↔ Opportunity Owner ↔ Operator Property ↔ Service Buyer ↔ Broker Need ↔ Resource Project ↔ Specialist No specific match is guaranteed. • 7:45–8:05 PM - Selected Connection Round Facilitators support selected introductions using: pre-event registration signals; onsite updates; observations from previous rounds. Deal Match Plus attendees receive priority consideration. Priority does not guarantee a particular individual or outcome. • 8:05–8:25 PM - Follow-Up Window Open professional follow-up. Attendees are encouraged to identify no more than three people they would genuinely benefit from reconnecting with. They may: exchange contact details directly; or select people through the Double Opt-in Post-Event Intro process. • 8:25–8:30 PM - Close Final instructions covering: post-event connection form; privacy; follow-up; professional conduct.
